“I arrived in Ghana in 2008 after having lived in the US, UK and Spain. My educational and professional background was within the business and advertising sectors, but I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and quickly envisioned what my destiny in Ghana would be.

There was the clear need to provide a professional support to expatriates relocating to Ghana; where international standards in the relocation field would meet the expectations of executive professionals and their families transferred by multinational companies to Ghana. The market lacked professionalism and trustworthy companies to provide assistance to these expatriates. And Ghana Relocation was born.

We quickly started to increase our clientele, including many international companies and organizations. We also partnered with several international relocation companies who use us as their local service provider. It was reassuring that our clients and international relocation companies kept recommending us to other companies, and we grew significantly through word of mouth. Many companies returned to use our services for new employees, and our business relationships and partnerships grew stronger. All this was achieved whilst operating in a very challenging environment clearly lacking in reliable market players.

Similar to the relocation market, the real estate market was very unprofessional with no clear companies taking lead on it. As a relocation company providing home search programs as one of the key services within relocations, we could not sit back and rely on other agencies if we wanted our service to excel. Therefore, our Home Search Service was developed. We have built a very wide network of developers and landlords for our clients to benefit from. All this means that we are able to provide a complete independent advice to our clients, providing the widest possible portfolio of properties, and at the same time, reliability in the service.

Today my focus, and the most important value within our business, is excellence in service. This absolutely leads everything we do, from initial contact with the client, to preparation of programs, coordination, visits, efficiency and responsiveness in all communications. And I can proudly say that our clients often show recognition and appreciation for this.

I could not have done all this alone. My team have been key to the company’s success. Together we take our company values very seriously and we pride ourselves on the positive feedback we consistently receive.

On our 10^th anniversary of operation, we realized we needed to make a difference in how stakeholders perceive our message and brand. We wanted our brand to evolve into something that would be in line with the level of service we have developed over the past years.
