DURING THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK

 

 

You will find in this article the official links and emergency numbers regarding the COVID-19 outbreak in Ghana, as well as some tips to help you get your food delivery straight to your door, in case of confinement or quarantine.

 

Government guidelines

The Ghanaian government has dedicated a website to update on the outbreak of Covid-19 in Ghana : https://www.ghanahealthservice.org/covid19/

This website is said to be updated every 6 hours with statistics and other relevant information concerning the outbreak in the country.

 

The government encourage every Ghanaians and residents to take care of their health and that of their families by adhering to the following precautionary measures:

• Regular and thorough washing of hands with soap under running water and use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers
• Avoid shaking hands
• Keep a distance of at least 2 meters from a person with fever, cough, sneezing and difficulty in breathing
• Stay home if you feel unwell with symptoms of fever, cough and difficulty in breathing and call the following numbers immediately: 050 949 7700 / 055 843 9868

In regards to the recent outbreaks of Corona Virus in Europe and the few cases found in Ghana, So-B-Green is applying all the safety measures imposed by CDC & WHO.

• Annie’s Handcrafted Sausages:

Choose from Accra’s largest selection of pork, beef, chicken, veggie and vegan sausages today. Just call or Whatsapp them on 050 653 4156 and they’ll deliver to you.

• SUPERMARKETS: Some of the supermarkets are proposing home delivery in their area. You can contact them to know how to place your order.

• • Max Mart: you can order from their website https://maxmartonline.com/ or download their app on App Store or Google Play and be delivered in Accra and Tema only, from Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 7pm. The delivery is free for order above 600ghs. Order pick up at Max Mart 37 on Liberation Road, from Monday to Saturday, 9am to 8pm. Pay online or cash on delivery.
