Our second chat on the story of how Ghana has inspired, and continues to inspire them, both in their work, as well as in their daily lives is with Enyo Bruku of ”Enyo Bruku Travels”.
Tell us a bit about yourself & give us a brief intro to why you started Enyo Bruku Travels?
I am a lover of travel, born and raised in Accra. I own Enyo Bruku Travels, a travel and tour business that was born as a result of the passion I have showing people from all walks of life, the country I love, from a local’s perspective.
What inspired you to start your company, EnyoBrukuTravels? And what inspires you creatively in general?
I was inspired to start my company after I realised the job I was in at the time wasn’t bringing me the joy and satisfaction I craved. I decided to pursue my passion and created Enyo Bruku Travels. Generally, I’m inspired by the diverse cultures and heritage of Ghana, which I believe needs to be shared with others.
What is the best thing about living in Accra?
The best thing about living in Accra is the sense of togetherness and community of the people.
What are your favourite spots in Accra?
My favourite spots in Accra are definitely Zen Garden for a night out (https://zengardengh.com/), La Villa Boutique for a dip in the pool (http://lavillaghana.com/) and Ada for a quick getaway.
